Avon’s New Senior VP to Build Workforce

Crum's official title is now senior vice president of human resources and chief people officer.

Effective September 17, Scott Crum will take over the position of senior vice president and chief people officer at Avon Products. Crum will join the company’s Executive Committee, and report to Sheri McCoy, Avon’s CEO.

“As we work to return Avon to growth, it is essential that we effectively manage and develop talent while also enhancing a culture of accountability,” said McCoy, in a press release.

“Scott shares my commitment to creating an engaged and effective work environment with aligned goals and a one-team mindset. His knowledge of the global workforce and experience building strong teams will be critical to our turnaround efforts,”McCoy also stated.

Prior, Crum held the same title at Motorola Mobility. There, he led human resources initiatives for establishing Motorola Mobility as an independent and publicly traded company, separate from Motorola. It wasrecently acquired by Google.
